Herbal blends for
Intentional and Transformative Experiences
Enthea Pharmakon: A nature-sourced agent of transformation; a sacred remedy or ritual substance infused with the presence of the divine within.
Enthea (Ancient Greek: ἔνθεα): an inner, spirit-filled state of inspiration or possession, denoting the condition of being inhabited by a goddess. Commonly associated with prophetic ecstasy, poetic inspiration, and mystical rapture, entheia marked the human experience of divine indwelling where the boundary between mortal and divine dissolved.
Etymology: from en (“within”) + theos/thea (“god/goddess”), literally “the goddess within.”
Pharmakon (Ancient Greek: φάρμακον): a ritual formula, a substance of advanced herbal pharmacology, and a charged agent of transformation. It encompasses the sophisticated knowledge of herbs, drugs, and potions, bridging medicine and magic. Symbolically, the pharmakon embodied the liminal power of transition and initiation.

About Us
We craft herbal blends as offerings—invitations into presence, deep knowing, and transformation. Each one is designed to return you to yourself and to a place of self-belonging. Using only organic and wild-foraged ingredients, each tincture and brew is prepared with reverence, honoring the highest standards of sourcing integrity, ecological harmony, and energetic balance.
We are based out of Putney, Vermont (Sokoki Abenaki land), where we cultivate and craft all of our medicinal blends. Rooted in the vision of cultivating inner harmony, Enthea was founded by Allison Mandell, who has spent over two decades studying entheogens out of a deep devotion to the plants—as allies, teachers, and gateways into healing and belonging. She also continues to educate herself at the Gaia School of Healing under the training of folk herbalist and ethnobotanist Sage Mauer.
Enthea carries the mission of weaving ritual and intention into daily life. Every blend is an opportunity for renewal and transformation, guiding us back to the sacred within and around us.
